A few years ago, I was introduced to a family who has a son with special needs. We became close friends and Alex became an inspiration in finding a solution that would allow them to spend more time outdoors as a family. After extensive research on adaptive and special needs bicycles, I quickly realized there were not many options available. Many had issues with poor seating position, cramped spaces, and limited usage as the person developed. We built our first trailer in the attempt to solve these concerns and after several prototypes, my passion took over and it has evolved into a quality product. These trailers offer a nice, safe, comfortable ride for small children to full size adults over 220 pounds. Our mission is to give families the opportunity for everyone to "Enjoy the Ride" and explore the outdoors.
One of the biggest reasons to make the investment! Our customers see the change in their children, friends or relatives immediately as they feel like they are doing something new and exciting . The smiles and laughs in these photos are why we do what we do.
Many of our friends say that no matter what they do it seems someone or even two family members are always left out for outdoor activities and the family is split the majority of the time. This allows for the family to get together and enjoy a nightly ride without leaving anyone out.
Our customers rave at the design and comment that they love the fact that it doesn't look like an adaptive piece of equipment. Some of our competitors offer other types of bikes but they are mainly a dedicated unit. Our system allows you to use your own style of bicycle to pull the trailer and when you disconnect the trailer it allows you to use the other half of the investment.
Health for the caregiver is improved. These trailers pull really nice down the road but it does offer a great fitness routine and a quick recharge of fresh air while doing something fun. Some of our customers just love a quick spin around the block and others will enjoy 10-20 mile trips.
